a slender monument erected in 1888 marking where about 200 Covenantors, made prisoner
at the Battle of Boswell Bridge, where ship wrecked in 1679.
The isle of Copinsay is a wedge shaped island with a lighthouse perched on 300ft
high vertical cliffs facing the North sea...this island is the nesting sites of some
10,000 pairs of Gullimots and Kittwakes...Copinsay can be reached by boat...details
